Life is like Cotton Candy

I was sitting here thinking about how I hadn't posted in a while because life has been so hectic and I haven't had much time to even sit and think about what I would write about. I saw the area of the blog and it said something like "Add a Catchy Title" and I thought, huh, what would a catchy title be? "Life is like a Box of Chocolates"? No, that one is taken... Then it occured to me, Life isn't like a box of chocolates, it's more like Cotton Candy! It's larger than you can handle, it's sweet, it's soft and cozy but sometimes (add water) and it's also hard. It can make you smile and it can make you (sugar) crash. It can give you energy but then make you feel drained and tired. Life really is like Cotton Candy!

Every time we go to the zoo or an amusement park the kids want cotton candy. Sometimes I say yes, sometimes I say no. Usually if I say yes I end up regretting it. Too much of a good thing I guess. No matter if I tell them to pace themselves and to not eat it all at once they have a hard time limiting themselves and saving it for later.

There a lot of things in life like that I guess.
